Description:

CosVivet APG DG55, CosVivet APG DG64 and CosVivet APG DG73 are natural nonionic surfactants made from glucose and fatty alcohol. They belong to the alkylpolyglucoside surfactant group and are 100 % biologically degradable. CosVivet APG DG55, CosVitet APG DG64 and CosVivet APG DG73 are free if preservatives. All products are COSMOS- and halal-certified.

Application:

CosVivet APG DG55, CosVitet APG DG64 and CosVivet APG DG73 are mild surfactants which provide superior detergency, emulsifying, penetrating and surface tension reduction properties. They can also be used as co-surfactants to reduce the irritation potential of a formulation.

Compared to other saccharoidal surfactants, decyl glucoside has more superior foaming and less good thickening properties. It shows excellent compatibility with anionic and amphoteric surfactants.

Decyl glucoside is generally used in shampoos, bubble baths, cleansing lotions and personal hygiene products, because of its excellent mildness, foaming performance and ability to reduce irritation. As it can emulsify oils well, it is often used in 2-in-1 formulations.

Storage:

Stable for 24 months in original packaging when stored at room temperature. Storage at high temperature (> 45°C) for a longer time may result in a darker product color. At low temperatures, the product may thicken to a paste. This has no effect on its performance. It should then be heated lightly and mixed before use.
